The World Parakart Championships 2006!

Both England, Ireland and Scotland all have a team entered into the 2006 Parakart World Championships 2006 held in Gravelines, France on the 14th to the 18th of September. Myself and Paul Vivian will be keeping a 'World Championship Diary' of the event which we aim to keep updated once or more times each day while we're there so that anyone 'back home' can keep an eye on the conditions and how the UK pilots are doing. New Buggy Manufacturer

A company called ESP Buggies have just brought out a new aluminium buggy called the Titan. Said to be good for a novice or pro we will hopefully be getting more information and possibly review it soon.

Hi All,

Want to tell everyone what the wind is like at your local spot, and what you might be flying. Then take a look at a new feature: wind.KiteATB.co.uk, its only a beta at the moment.

Flexifoil Developments

Flexifoil has been quiet for a while now in its developments and we've heard very little, however recently we recieved information from one of our sources in the know and can tell you that Flexifoil have a new kite: The Rage; An improved and expanded Sting range; and 2 new bars for their fixed power foils.

U-Turn Butane Arrives

U-Turns latest kite, the high speed, high performance Butane has just arrived in the UK, set between the Nitro and Oxigen performance wise and referred to as the equivilent to the Raptor III. Read a bit about the U-Turn Butane Here. Along with some other info about U-Turn.

Kitejam 2005 Results & Report!!

Well what a good weekend that was.

We have just added a event report from the KiteJam guys including all the results from the weekend.

- On another note we know content has been on the slow side lately, but this is all going to change, we have been very busy designing a new site, KiteGallery.net which is a site for kiters to view and add there kiting photos to so go check it out here. Help Keep Les Hemmes Open!!

Some of you may have heard of a beach in north France called Les Hemmes, Well like a lot of beaches in our sport it has come under attack and is now closed for traction kiting activities. Well some of the local guys have got together and there is a petition for people to sigh to help in the efforts to get the beach reopened.

Flexi Wallop One Report !

Flexi Wallop One, the largest powerkite event in the UK was held just over two weeks ago at Middle Wallop in Hampshire, the event is usually twice annually and attracts over 900 attendees, this year all of the admin team was there to join in and soak up the atmosphere, and it was undoubtedly the best Wallop yet!

NPKC- Norfolk Power Kite Club Launch & Flexifoil Demo Day !

With the launch of the NPKC - Norfolk Power Kite Club they have teamed up with Flexifoil to hold a demo day at Tibenham Airfield which is about 10 miles south of Norwich, on the 21st of June

Kite Buggy Bike Stolen!

Last night a Kite Bike was stolen from a van in Thorpe Bay, Southend, Essex. It was a home built buggy out of stainless, 33mm OD tubing, with a red seat and with maxxis 3 ply kevlar turf 18-850-8s on kadkat (the big red fluted ones) with solid 20mm bar axles. PKD Prototypes

PKD have been getting a stronger reputation in the UK recently, their low cost high performance race kite the Century has been well received by many who want to get into the racing scene and the Buster has had excellent sales in the beginner sector.

They are currently developing two new kites, one which is set to take over from the Joy, and another which is set to go upwind better than any other race kite on the market. Yet again we've been lucky enough to gain access to some information about them that can be found Here,
