| Introduction: |
The V-max is a cruiser not a race or freestyle buggy |
| Adjustability: |
Well the down tude is a sliding; totally variable affair allowing almost all leg lengths to be catered for.
If you buggy in a mainly flat area with no bumps then you can bolt the side rails to the rear axle in the low position. Add this with some careful seat adjustments you can end up with your bum a couple of inches of the ground but be warned, don't roll over any kite pegs otherwise you might end up with a real pain in the a**e.
If you unfortunately have a bumpy area to buggy on then you will need to rotate the axle 180 degrees so that the mounting brackets sit above the axle thus giving you greater ground clearance.
The front wheel has two setting, the one further back gives better grip when cornering the other gives more control at speed |
| Comfort: |
With a V-max you sit in it, a Flexi of a Peter Lynn you sit on it. The high side rails (compared to the Flexi or PL) give you support and something to brace againts and helps stop you from being pulled out.
Personnally I do find there is a lack of back support, the seat is not high enough for my liking, I find if I lean back or push myself back in the seat the top of the seat fold over to easily. This will be put right soon hopefully with the aid of a roll over bar which should hopefully act as a back rest as well.

| Construction: |
The entire Libre range are solidly built and the v-max is no different. The only down side is the powder coating, it chips and if you play on the beach and don't protect the chips then the small chip will start to grow. A dab of black hammerite or a well placed sticker normally solves the problem |
| Freestyling: |
No, this is where the Flexi and the PL come into their own their smaller and lighter
|
| Speed and Cruising: |
Not as good as the full race or the Chameleons but certainly better than a Flexi.

| Final Comments: |
There is a big market of add on's for the V-max, it will take many of the Libre full race items, theres the roll over bar already mentioned, wide axles, wide wheels, disc wheels, buggy bags, frame extenders (for making it longer), swan neck down tube. And if you shop around and are prepared to order and wait for delivery you can get them in Red and Blue as well as the standard Black.
