| Introduction: |
This buggy has under gone 2 years of development and testing to get the minimum weight but maximum strength. The Typhoon is made from aircraft grade aluminium's maintaining precision and strength. |
| Adjustability: |
This buggy has an adjustable downtube to suit every height of rider. It has 160mm Downtube Travel. It also has adjustable front forks. Soon there will be more things to get for this buggy so you can customise it to max with a camber kit, different length rear axles, suspension, roll cages and many other things so you can get the maximum out of your buggy |
| Comfort: |
This is a very comfortable buggy with a nice high sided seat which gives excellent back support and control of the buggy. The frame of the buggy also helps with this buggy as it has built in shock absorbers and a springy frame so it rides over bumps with ease and comfort. |
| Construction: |
This is a very well constructed buggy with reinforced bars on the back axle as well as on the top side beams to give the frame extra strength and rigidity. The frame is made out of 7000 series aluminium to keep the weight down but the strength up. The wheel bolts are 15mm so they are very strong and are not easily bent like some 12mm wheel bolts. There is only one downside to the construction of my buggy is that one of the lower side frames bent slightly when I was buggy jumping and had a bit of a heavy landing but it was my fault and it most likely will never happen to you. |
| Freestyling: |
This is an excellent freestyle buggy because of its lightness and strength. With this buggy you can really feel the movement of the buggy and control power with it and either slide out the back and turn it into a powerslide to scrub some of the power away or carry on going to increase speed. The Typhoon is very easy to 2 wheel in as you can use your weight to lean over the high side rails to go into a 2 wheeler and i have seen novice buggiers doing there first 2 wheelers with ease in the typhoon. As the typhoon is one of the lightest buggies on the market it is great for buggy jumping and you can hardly feel it when you are in the air with it as it is so light! Also it is very easy to chuck about and do aerial tricks with because you have the control of the buggy with the high side frames and the lightweight frame. |
| Speed and Cruising: |
This buggy can really go some speed but due to it's high side rails it can feel like it is going to flip on turns if you are on a grippy surface and can't slide the back round but this is when you are only travelling 20+mph so make sure you know how to slide out before you turn at speed! But with the new upgrades that will be shortly available to buy for this buggy you will not get this problem and it will become a lot more stable at speed. |
| Final Comments: |
This is an excellent buggy for everyone from a beginner to the most experienced rider. If you want a buggy to do freestyle in then its great! But if you want a buggy to race in then with a few modifications that will be available soon it will be great! This is a very comfortable buggy that can be adapted for every rider. If you buy one you will not be disappointed with it. |
